We size the building around your plan rather than fitting your plan to a stock package. Span, height, door sizes, roof pitch, porches and openings all get decided before anything is ordered — which is why they don't turn into change orders later.
Most owners come to us with a rough footprint and a budget. We walk the lot, tell you honestly what it will take, and put the number in writing.

What drives the price
We don't publish a price per square foot, because the number would be wrong for almost everybody who read it. These are the things that actually move a quote up or down — worth thinking about before you call.

- Panel type: exposed-fastener is cheapest, standing seam more, copper most
- Number of valleys, hips, dormers and penetrations
- Whether the old roof comes off or the new one goes over it

How long does a metal roof last in Texas?
A properly installed metal roof outlasts asphalt shingle by a wide margin, and it holds up far better to Texas sun and hail. The panel finish and the quality of the flashing detail matter more to that lifespan than the metal itself.
Is a metal roof louder in the rain?
Not the way people expect. Over a solid deck with underlayment and insulation below it, a metal roof is about as quiet as shingle. The loud metal roof people remember is bare panel over open purlins with nothing underneath.
Can it go over an existing shingle roof?
Often yes, which saves the cost and mess of a tear-off. It depends on how many layers are already up there and what condition the deck is in. We check that before quoting rather than after.
What panel profiles do you install?
Standing seam for a clean look and concealed fasteners, R-panel and similar exposed-fastener profiles where budget matters more, and copper for turrets, bays and feature roofs.
Does a metal roof help with cooling costs?
A light-coloured or reflective-coated panel reflects a lot of heat that a dark shingle absorbs, which takes load off the attic and the air conditioning. The saving depends far more on your insulation than on the roof alone.
Do you do copper work?
Yes. The conical turret in our gallery was installed by our own crew. Copper is the most demanding metal roofing there is, and very few contractors in Central Texas take it on.
